 We headed off to Rotto on the 28th January the Monday of the long weekend for a few days. It was the first visit to Rotto with the new addition the Brig. She towed really well with the new bridal that we had made up and when we got to Rotto Matty drove it in to Thompson Bay. Timmy came with us and the first night we stayed in Thompson bay and did some fishing and managed to get about 12 herring - yummy! |
On the Tuesday we headed round to Geordie bay with the big girl and got on our mooring and then we headed to Eagle Bay on the Brig. Spent a couple of hours there and the boys jumped off the rocks and did some snorkling. Headed back to Geordie and moved the big girl in real close and had a nice BBQ and boys did some more fishing but didnt catch any thing. Headed off about 10.30 on the Wednesday with a nice seabreeze behind us - great journey home!
